The company claims the GPU is up to 40% faster than the A19 Pro. An improved vapor chamber increases the surface area for cooling. The new thermal system, along with updated chip packaging, supports higher sustained performance during intensive tasks.
Battery life has improved across both Pro versions, especially on eSIM-only models. The iPhone 18 Pro offers up to 36 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max extends that to 45 hours. Wired charging can bring the battery to 50% in approximately 15 minutes. eSIM-only variants will debut in markets including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, as well as several countries outside the Middle East.
Siri AI capabilities expand as part of Apple Intelligence with iOS 27
